Generating a Platform Architect Component with Carbon Model Studio

Overview
Carbon Model Studio generates models which integrate directly into CoWare® Platform Architect. The Carbon/CoWare combination enables designers to rapidly develop and assemble complete virtual platforms which can be used to perform architectural tradeoffs or presilicon software development.
Rapid Development of Platform Architect Components
Components generated by Carbon Model Studio automatically plug directly into Platform Architect. This enables a compiled Carbon component to be dragged-and-dropped onto the Platform Architect canvas. Carbon Model Studio’s straightforward graphical user interface enables the user to quickly create a Carbon model, configure its software visible registers and link with Platform Architect's transaction-based interfaces.
Accelerated Software Debug and Profiling
Platform Architect components generated by Carbon Model Studio are integrated using CoWare's SystemC Modeling Library (SCML). This gives the software engineer complete model visibility into the Carbon Model. All registers and memories in any model can be queried, modified or used as breakpoints. In addition, all Carbon Models have the capability to dump waveforms, enabling software and hardware engineers to work together to debug complex system problems or any hardware problems which are uncovered by running software.
