Carbon's mission is to reduce the time to market for system on chip (SoC) designs by providing a unified virtual prototype which meets the system level design needs of the architect, firmware developer and software engineer.

This same modeling technology has enabled Carbon to establishes numerous relationships with key IP vendors such as ARM, MIPS and Denali. Models from these vendors and many more are available via Carbon IP Exchange, a web portal where our customers can configure, build and manage and download their IP models. Carbon’s focus on providing the best solution for a virtual prototyping has yielded a unique offering called swap n' play which promises to finally meet the market expectation for system level design. With this technology SoC Designer Plus can provide 100% cycle accuracy and 100s MIPs performance to address the needs of both the architect and the software engineering teams.
